Maximising consumer engagement through Big Energy Saving Week
The UK government wanted to help consumers to take control of their energy use and reduce bills through the promotion of switching suppliers and sources of help, particularly for vulnerable customers. We were awarded the contract to deliver a multi-channel media campaign with significant reach and measurable outcomes, working with Citizens Advice.
We have an in-depth understanding of energy saving and behaviour change techniques alongside established communications channels which benefit from our trusted, impartial and recognisable brand.
We devised a comprehensive multi-channel campaign utilising traditional and digital media and social media working with our established network of partners. The campaign centred on a set of key messages that aimed to encourage consumers to take action and control of their energy bills.
The multi-channel approach enabled us to reach a broad audience. The campaign generated 354 print, online or broadcast articles with an accumulated reach of nearly 36 million. The campaign was promoted and shared across a variety of social media channels and received high engagement from consumers with over 14 million impressions.
